Corruption Files For The 2020 Office Budget Of The Maluku KKT Regency With The Defendant Former Acting Regent Of P21

The Public Prosecutor's Team (JPU) of the Tanimbar Islands Regency (KKT) in Maluku Province has transferred the case file for alleged corruption of the fictitious official travel budget in 2020 with the suspect RBM as the former Acting (Pj) Regent of the KKT to the Ambon Corruption Court.

"The public prosecutor's team has also transferred evidence in the form of documents and money amounting to Rp106,892,000, which is the return of some of the state's financial losses in the case," said Acting Head of Public Information and Public Relations of the Maluku Attorney General's Office, Aizit P. Latuconsina in Ambon, Monday, March 3, confiscated by Antara.

In addition to the RBM case file which served as the Regional Secretary of the KKT in 2020, the public prosecutor team also transferred the case file of the suspect PM who is the treasurer at the 2020 KKT Regional Secretariat to the Ambon Corruption Court.

The delegation of the case was carried out by the public prosecutor team of the Tanimbar Islands District Attorney's Office and received by PTSP officers from the Ambon District Court.

In this case, it is suspected that there has been a state financial loss or the state economy of Rp. 1,092,917,664.

"This state financial loss comes from the total budget ceiling of Rp1,930,659,000 within the scope of the KKT Regional Secretariat for the 2020 fiscal year," explained Aizit.

The two suspects are suspected of violating the primary article of Article 2 Paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 18 Paragraph (1), (2), (3) of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.

Subsidiary charges violate Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 Paragraph (1), (2), (3) Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.

Furthermore, after the delegation, the public prosecutor is waiting for the schedule for the trial determination from the Corruption Court judge at the Ambon District Court to start the trial.
