Nurdin Abdullah's Family Is Ready To Be Examined By The KPK

JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the Governor of South Sulawesi, Veronica Moniaga, said that the family of Nurdin Abdullah (NA) is ready to be questioned if needed by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

She said the family respects and will continue to cooperate with the legal process that is running at the KPK.

"The family will also try to provide support in the form of information if requested and will remain cooperative with the ongoing legal process or that being undertaken by Governor Nurdin Abdullah," explained Vero in her official statement in Makassar, as reported by Antara, Sunday, February 28.

In her statement, it was known that most of NA's families were also in Jakarta to support the suspected corruption case of more than IDR 3.4 billion in the end of 2020 to 2021.

Regarding the development of this case, the NA family has appointed a lawyer who will assist and mediate all information and legal processes that are running for the former Regent of Bantaeng, South Sulawesi for the two periods.

"Namely, Mr. Arman Hanis, who in the future will provide more information regarding the progress of Mr. Nurdin Abdullah's legal process," she said.

Further information updates will continue to be carried out by the family after the Governor of South Sulawesi was named a suspect at the KPK press conference earlier this morning.
