Bawaslu Recommends Re-voting, Continuation And Susulant At 1,692 TPS

JAKARTA - The General Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) recommends to the KPU to re-vote (PSU), further voting (PSL) and follow-up voting (PSS) with a total of 1,692 polling stations.

"This recommendation is the result of Bawaslu's supervision at the implementation of the 2024 General Election voting," said the Coordinator of the Prevention, Community Participation and Public Relations Division of Bawaslu Lolly Suhenty, Wednesday, February 28.

In detail, the re-voting (PSU) was 890 polling stations, continued voting (PSL) namely 136 polling stations, and 666 polling stations (PSS), bringing the total to 1,692 polling stations recommended by Bawaslu.

From these recommendations, the most re-voting was in the province of Papua, the 94 polling stations, Papua 80 polling stations, South Sulawesi 70 polling stations, Maluku 70 polling stations, NTB 53 polling stations, NTT 53 polling stations, and Central Sulawesi 42 polling stations.

For further voting, the most occurred in West Java province were 43 polling stations, South Sumatra 21 polling stations, DKI Jakarta 19 polling stations, and Banten 14 polling stations.

While the most subsequent voting, namely in Central Papua province there are 387 polling stations, Central Java 114 polling stations, Papua 99 polling stations, Papua 39 polling stations, and Banten 18 polling stations.

Of the total 1,692 polling stations recommended by Bawaslu to conduct PSU, PSL and PSS, it turns out that according to data from Bawaslu, the KPU only followed up on 1,521 polling stations, meaning that there was a difference of 171 polling stations from Bawaslu recommendations.

Details of Bawaslu's recommendations that were followed up by the KPU based on Bawaslu data, for re-voting, namely 729 polling stations, 135 follow-up polling stations, and 657 polling stations, with a total of 1,521 polling stations.
