Former Commissioner Of Wika Beton Transitions To Wife Buying Bags For MA Secretary Hasbi Hasan, Even Though Making A Secret Girlfriend

JAKARTA - The defendant in the alleged bribery case management at the Supreme Court (MA), former Commissioner of PT Wika Beton Dadan Tri Yudianto, denied giving luxury bags to the then Supreme Court Secretary, Hasbi Hasan. The bag was given to his girlfriend.

While testifying at the Corruption Court (Tipikor), Jakarta, Tuesday Dadan said the luxury bag was purchased in Singapore around June 2022 along with his wife Riris Riska Diana.

At that time, said Dadan, he did argue to his wife that the bag would be given to Hasbi Hasan.

"At that time, I intended to give gifts to Mr. Hasbi, but Mr. Hasbi refused. After that, it wasn't good for my wife, even though I gave the bag to my girlfriend," Dadan said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 27.

The Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) then questioned Dadan by reading the contents of the examination report (BAP).

Prosecutors said Dadan in his BAP contacted Hasbi Hasan while in Singapore and offered souvenirs.

"The intention is in my heart to offer souvenirs for reasons to my wife," said Dadan.

"But did you really call Mr. Hasbi?" asked the prosecutor.

"No because I don't have his phone number," replied Dadan.

"How does this contact you?" asked the prosecutor again.

"I didn't call. That's my excuse to my wife," said Dadan.

Hearing Dadan's answer, the prosecutor read the sound of BAP Dadan again. The prosecutor said Dadan called Hasbi Hasan and offered souvenirs because he had been assisted in resolving the Intidana Heryanto Tanaka Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) debtor case, the bribe giver.

"Nothing. At that time I was just giving an excuse to my wife for Mr. Hasbi, even though it wasn't for Mr. Hasbi," said Dadan.

'Then for whom?' cecar jaksa.

"To my female friend," replied Dadan.

Dadan explained that the luxury bag was chosen by his wife. The prosecutor then surprised that the luxury bag chosen by his wife was actually given by Dadan to his mistress.

"Let's not fight," said Dadan.

Because he was still surprised, the prosecutor then asked why Dadan confessed to his wife that the bag was given to Hasbi Hasan.

Dadan replied that his wife would not be angry if the bag was given to Hasbi.

"Why isn't your wife angry when Mr. Hasbi said it?", asked the prosecutor.

"Because in the past Pak Hasbi helped his thesis ( Dadan's wife)," he replied.

Dadan admitted that his wife only knew that the luxury bag was given to Hasbi. In fact, he said, the bag was actually given to his girlfriend who was studying in Australia.

"What's his name?" asked the prosecutor.

'Mala,' replied Dadan.

Previously, Hasbi Hasan was charged with receiving three bags from Dadan, namely a medium blue Hermes type bag, a medium red Hermes type bag, and a medium-red Dior bag.

The overall price of the luxury bag is around Rp250 million. Hasbi received the bag around June 2022 at the Office of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia as part of the handling of the Intidana Intidana Savings and Loans (KSP) debtor case, Heryanto Tanaka.

In this case, Dadan and Hasbi were charged with receiving Rp11.2 billion from Heryanto Tanaka, who was currently in a lawsuit at the Supreme Court. The money was, among other things, used to circulate case management in the Supreme Court for the benefit of Heryanto Tanaka.

Dadan was charged with bridging Heryanto Tanaka with Hasbi Hasan. The goal is to take care of the cassation case on behalf of Budiman Gandi Suparman so that it is granted by the Supreme Court Justice and so that the KSP Intidana bankruptcy case can be decided according to Heryanto Tanaka's wishes.
