11 Detainees Of The Tanah Abang Police Who Escaped Have Been Arrested Again, 3 Are Still Being Hunted By The Police

Dozens of prisoners escaped from the Tanah Abang Police detention cell. Currently, 11 of them have been recaptured by the joint team. "11 of the 14 suspects or detainees of the Tanah Abang Police have been secured again by a joint team from the Tanah Abang Police, Central Jakarta Metro Police and the Criminal Investigation Directorate," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Monday, February 26. Most recently, the joint team arrested three detainees in different areas. First, Hendro Mulyanto, who was arrested in the Tangerang area, Banten on Saturday, February 24. Then, Muhammad Aqdas in the Magelang area, Central Java, on last Sunday, February 25, at around 11.35 WIB. Then, Doni Ferdinand alias Ferdinand who was arrested in the Pondok Indah Flyover area, South Jakarta on Monday, February 26. With this arrest, the remaining three prisoners are still being hunted. They are Renal, Harizqullah Arrahman, and Welen Saputra Thio. "So there are still three who have not been arrested. We hope that these three suspects are cooperative to account for their actions," said Ade.

Meanwhile, 14 prisoners escaped from cell room number 2 on Monday, February 19. They broke into the iron vent in the bathroom. As a result of the escaped detainee, Commissioner Hans Philip Samosir, who is the Tanah Abang Police Chief, was removed from his position.
