CIANJUR - The Bulog Cianjur Office, West Java, provides 2 tons of rice and hundreds of liters of cooking oil that residents can buy directly in the office yard, Jalan Dr Muwardi-By Pass, Cianjur, at low prices according to the HET of premium rice and cooking oil. Head of Bulog Cianjur, Renato Horison said, sales made directly in the office yard have been carried out since the past month as an effort to normalize prices and as an effort to meet high enough needs. "We provide services every day but the lack of employees makes uncertain schedules, but for the past month almost every day we have provided around 2 tons of rice and hundreds of liters of cooking oil that have run out within a few hours," he said when contacted as quoted by Antara, Monday, February 26. Renato explained, every day direct sales services to the public are open since 9 am and before the evening at around 15.00 WIB, where 5 kilograms of rice is sold for IDR 54 thousand and premium type cooking oil is sold for IDR 15 thousand per liter which is provided sold out. The rate of purchases continues to increase every day, so that his party will reschedule sales in front of the office yard to meet the needs of residents and as an effort to normalize prices in the market which continues to climb. "We will reschedule so that direct sales can run every day, but after the price returns to normal, it will be carried out as needed," he said. Meanwhile, regarding the normalization of rice prices and supplies in the market, his party is intensifying the distribution of the Rice Stability Program for Supply and Food Prices (SPHP) to distributors and rice dilution in a number of markets in Cianjur which can sell with HET.

Including distributing government aid rice together with local governments for 277,079 Beneficiary Families (KPM) throughout the Cianjur area, with the hope of normalizing prices in the market and meeting the food needs of residents.
