Government Prepares 225 Thousand CASN Formation Ready To Work At IKN

The Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) has prepared 225 thousand formations for new graduates or fresh graduates who are ready to work in the capital city of the archipelago in the selection of Candidates for State Civil Apparatus (CASN) 2024.

"So approximately 225.000 total for 'fresh graduates' in the central government. Now for 'fresh graduates' in the central government, the designation is in IKN," said Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas as reported by ANTARA, Monday, February 26.

Azwar explained that since it was announced in CASN, ASN candidates had known that the formation for the central government would be based in IKN, East Kalimantan.

That way, when they are transferred to next year or three more years, the ASN candidates who are accepted will immediately move to IKN.

"From now on, since it was announced that he has been for IKN, so that one day whether next year, two more years, three more years they will move to IKN, they should immediately move," said Azwar.

Meanwhile, regarding the plan to transfer ASN to IKN this year, President Joko Widodo requested that the transfer be prepared comprehensively.

Of the total of approximately 9,000 ASN, there are 6,000 ASN across ministries/agencies including the TNI and Polri who are ready to move. The PANRB Ministry has also determined echelon 1 and 2 in each ministry that is ready to move.

Azwar said the transfer of ASN was carried out before October 2024, in contrast to the initial plan in July 2024 or before the 79th Independence Anniversary Ceremony.

"Later before October. Approximately September because in August it will still be used for ceremonies so that some apartments are available for August purposes. So after August," he said.

As many as 225,000 formations for new graduates at IKN are part of the government's total allocation for new graduates as many as 2.3 million formations for the 2024 CASN selection.

The formation was opened for lecturers, teachers, health workers, technical personnel including digital talents to take part in the 2024 CASN selection.
