Sahroni To The Prospective Competitors For The DKI Gubernatorial Election: I'm Not Afraid, Even Though Kaesang Joins

The General Treasurer of the NasDem Party, Ahmad Sahroni, announced that he was not afraid to fight all candidates for the Governor of DKI Jakarta if he ran in the election for the Governor-Deputy Governor (Pilgub) of DKI Jakarta some time to come.

In fact, Sahroni still did not stop his intention even though President Joko Widodo's son, Kaesang Pangarep, also wanted to participate in the DKI Jakarta Pilkada contestation in the future.

"Anyone who wants to run for the Governor of DKI Jakarta, I am not afraid, even though Kaesang joined," said Sahroni in his Instagram account, amadsahroni88, Sunday, February 25.

Sahroni also previously commented on the overview of former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil with the statement "OTW Jakarta hh".

Many assume that the billboard is a signal that Ridwan Kamil is interested in running as a candidate for Governor of DKI Jakarta in the 2024 Pilkada.

Meanwhile, Sahroni is also rumored to be interested in contesting the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election. Responding to the billboard "OTW Jakarta", he joked that Ridwan Kamil (RK) was an opponent who was easy to beat.

"It's just easy for RK. The opponent is too easy. Hehehe," said Sahroni when met at NasDem Tower, Cikini, Central Jakarta, Thursday, February 22.

Sahroni, who is also the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI, has also installed a billboard that reads "from Tanjung Priok to Jakarta".

The billboard installation was also uploaded to his Instagram account, @ahmadsahroni88.

The assumption that Sahroni is increasingly determined to run as a candidate for Governor of DKI continues to strengthen. In fact, Sahroni also feels that participating in the DKI Pilkada will be easier than his competitors, including Ridwan Kamil.

"Ridwan Kamil wants to say he wants to OTW Jakarta. Well, I'm already in Jakarta. Right, if RK wants to run for the Governor of DKI Jakarta, he's an OTW from Bandung to Jakarta. If I'm already in Jakarta," he added.

However, the man nicknamed Crazy Rich Priok did not want to confirm that he would participate in this year's DKI Pilkada contestation.

"Between going forward and not. It's the same as RK. If RK is just about to run for Jakarta, if I'm already in Jakarta. So, I'll be easy anytime, that's it," explained Sahroni.

Ridwan Kamil also replied to Sahroni's statement via his Instagram account with a collage video showing an image of himself's billboard, Sahroni's response, accompanied by a piece of Mandra's iconic remarks that said "very much".

"Bang @ahmadsahroni there is greetings from Mandra. Hatur nuhun," said the former Mayor of Bandung.
