JAKARTA - South Sulawesi Governor Nurdin Abdullah was caught in the hands of the KPK (OTT) operation. Nurdin is currently undergoing an intensive examination at the KPK.

Who is Nurdin Abdullah? Quoted by VOI from the official website of the South Sulawesi Provincial Government, Nurdin was born in Pare-Pare, South Sulawesi on February 7, 1963.

After completing his studies at SMAN 5 Makassar in 1982, Nurdin then completed his undergraduate education at the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry at Hasanuddin University (Unhas) in 1986 and completed his S2 and S3 degrees at Kyushu University, Japan University.

In his career, Nurdin was the President Director of PT Maruki Internasional Indonesia and two Japanese companies.

While in his political career, Nurdin was the regional head of the Bantaeng Regent for two terms from 2008 to 2018. Then he became the Governor of South Sulawesi for the 2018-2023 period.

Nurdin also served as Secretary General of the Association of Indonesian District Governments (APKASI) from 2015 to the present.
