YOGYAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Marshal TNI (Ret.) Hadi Tjahjanto ensured that the situation and conditions in the country after the 2024 election remained conducive so that it needed to be maintained.

"It is very good and conducive so that of course we manage to maintain and maintain a situation like this," said Hadi Tjahjanto after meeting the Governor of Yogyakarta Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X at the Kilen Palace, Yogyakarta, Friday, February 23 evening.

Hadi admitted that the post-election atmosphere became one of the topics of conversation between him and Sultan HB X when he met at the Kilen Palace for almost two hours.

Currently, according to him, is the waiting period for all stages of the 2024 General Election to be completed until the announcement and inauguration of the elected president and vice president.

During the process, Hadi hopes that all components of the nation will also oversee so that the situation and conditions in Indonesia remain conducive.

"I think conditions like this must be maintained because this is part of the responsibility of the nation's components so that the development that is carried out can be carried out properly," he said.

According to his duties as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Hadi promised to continue to ensure that state security remains stable so as to create calm in the community.

"So that the people are calm and that's part of the task that I have to take care of," he said, quoted by ANTARA.

Hadi's visit to Yogyakarta was the first since he was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs on February 21, 2024.

His position as Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is now filled by Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).

After being inaugurated as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Hadi previously met with the General Chairperson of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board Yahya Cholil Staquf or Gus Yahya at the PBNU Office, Central Jakarta on Thursday (22/2).
