Surakarta Hadiningrat Kasunanan Palace hopes that the revitalization currently being carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) will immediately target internal buildings. Relatives of the Surakarta Palace Kanjeng Pangeran Eddy Wirabhumi said several other buildings in the palace and needed to be revitalized, including Sangga Buwana and Sasana Mulya. Therefore, he hopes that after the revitalization of the south square and the north square is completed, other buildings can be started. "We hope that while it is being worked on, other things, including Sangga Buwana, Sasana Mulya, and others, can start the initial 2024 budget. Thus, others can start immediately," he said in Solo, Central Java, Antara, Friday, February 23. For Sasana Mulya, the government, in this case the Ministry of PUPR, has sent a team to obtain information. "Regarding Sasana Mulya, PUPR has sent a team to meet us as well. So a review has been carried out," he said. He hopes that the location can be immediately touched by revitalization considering that some time ago the roof of the building had collapsed due to the wind and heavy rain. In fact, the palace had time to make repairs independently to fix the damage so that it would not get worse.

Meanwhile, the revitalization of the Surakarta Palace is one of the development priorities launched by the Mayor of Surakarta, Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Several other infrastructures are also included in development and revitalization priorities, including flyovers at Simpang Joglo, Balekambang Park, and Lokananta.
