Minister AHY Will Continue The Policy Of Hadi Gebuk Land Mafia

JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR)/Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) continues the policy of beating the land mafia in order to create security and comfort for investors and the community.

AHY said President Joko Widodo left three main things.

First, immediately complete a big work to build a system that is increasingly capable, credible and sustainable, namely electronic certification.

"I received the message from the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency for the period 15 June 2022 - 21 February 2024 Mr. Hadi Tjahjanto clearly and clearly (loud and clear) to beat the land mafia, we will continue," he said in Jakarta, Wednesday,

AHY said that he had been given directions by Hadi Tjahjanto that this (electronic certificate) was also a solution that could overcome many things including land disputes, overlapping, things that included the practice against the law that had been carried out by the land mafia.

This includes land redistribution which can present three things, namely justice, progress and prosperity.

"If I briefly arrest other than electronic certification, Indonesian President Jokowi also hopes that the revision will be convincing related to carbon trading so that it will be even more successful," said AHY.

Finally, about achieving the target of 120 million in the complete Systematic Land Registration program (PTSL), which is an extraordinary job, hopefully it can be achieved together.

"Then it is not only justice conveyed by Pak Hadi last night, although it is very important. Without justice, the people cannot be prosperous, but we also want the Ministry of ATR/BPN in accordance with its spirit and motto of serving, professional, and trusted can also be a fundamental part to increase economic growth," said AHY.

Economic growth, he continued, in addition to driving net from exports and imports, is also largely determined by the amount of government spending, consumption and investment.

"Talking about investment, investors certainly need legal certainty, so this is where hopefully we will provide a sense of comfort and comfort for investors both domestically and abroad so that they can grow, build the Indonesian economy, create jobs as well as eradicate poverty and reduce unemployment. That way, of course, after that is welfare," he said.
