Anies Welcomes Ganjar's Proposal On Election Cheating Rights, NasDem Waits For Surya Paloh's Direction

Presidential candidate number 1, Anies Baswedan, welcomes the proposal of Presidential Candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo so that the party carrying it will issue the right of inquiry for alleged fraud in the 2024 General Election in the DPR. Anies believes that his coalition, namely NasDem, PKS and PKB, are ready to encourage the discourse. Responding to Anies' statement, the General Treasurer of the NasDem Party DPP Ahmad Sahroni, said his party was waiting for the direction of the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, to respond to the discourse on the right to inquiry. "As for NasDem, we are waiting for the direction of the General Chair (Surya Paloh)," said Sahroni when confirmed, Tuesday, February 20. The deputy chairman of Commission III of the DPR said that the right of inquiry to investigate allegations of fraud in the 2024 General Election could be carried out in the DPR. However, Sahroni emphasized that the NasDem faction in the DPR was still waiting for the order of the general chairman, not the presidential candidate who was promoted. "It could be that the right of inquiry is carried out. But what is the next direction, we are waiting for the direction of Mr. Surya Paloh as General Chair," said Sahroni.
