Surya Paloh's Response To Meeting Jokowi At The Palace, Golkar Alludes To The 'Comportor Support'

JAKARTA - Senior Golkar Party politician Idrus Marham responded to the meeting of the Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh with President Joko Widodo at the State Palace. Idrus mentioned the 'Comportor Support' which made small problems big.

Idrus initially commented on the meeting which was held in the midst of counting the votes for the 2024 presidential election. According to him, it is natural for Surya Paloh to meet President Jokowi. This, he said, was a form of communication between two political figures.

"A large nation, especially a pluralistic like Indonesia, this important political communication is a necessity. How can a problem be solved if there is no communication? This is impossible," said Idrus in Central Jakarta, Monday, February 19.

The secretary of the Prabowo-Gibran Strategic Campaign Team (TKS) assessed that the similarity of motivation and intention to support political communication between elites occurred was important. Because he said, political communication can overcome problems.

"Well, in communication, there needs to be a common motivation, equality of intention. If the intentions and motivations are the same, big problems can be reduced and small problems can be lost," said Idrus.

Idrus then mentioned the 'carp stove'. Idrus said, if the stove' dominates, it will be prone to conflict. Therefore, he advised to be careful in interpreting something.

"But if the dominant one is the stove driver, the interpretationist, the small problem becomes big and the big problem becomes the source of conflict," he concluded.

Previously, President Joko Widodo said that his meeting with the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party DPP, Surya Paloh, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Sunday, February 18 evening, was to become a "bridge" or bridge something.
