PKB Says Surya Paloh Meets Jokowi Without Coordination Of Coalition

JAKARTA - Chairperson of the PKB DPP Cucun Ahmad Syamsul Rizal said the General Chairperson of NasDem Surya Paloh met with President Jokowi at the Palace tonight without coordinating with the coalition parties. "There is no coordination regarding the meeting of party leaders in any AMIN coalition, nothing," said Cucun when asked about the meeting of Surya Paloh and Jokowi, at the PKB DPP, Central Jakarta, Sunday 18 February. But Cucun understands the meeting, he said that PKB did not have any problem with it. According to him it is the party chairman's right. That is the right of Bang Surya Paloh, if that is the case, and we cannot also intervene in the rights of all parties. It doesn't have to be said right, that's their respective rights," he said.Cucun said, the 2024 election has not ended because until now the recapitulation of the 2024 presidential election is still running. According to him, PKB is also still focused on overseeing the course of the party vote recapitulation process nationally and regionally.

"I myself am trusted as the director of the PKB legislative election, I am still focusing on the tabulation for legislative acquisition. So there is no discussion or talk with our coalition political parties to talk about jumping or for example taking a stand, until now there has been no discussion regarding that," he said. Previously, Surya Paloh was summoned by Jokowi to the Palace, Sunday, February 18. The meeting between the two is scheduled for 18.00 WIB.
