Waiting For The Official Calculation Results Of The KPU, PKB Has Not Thought About Coalition Or Opposition

JAKARTA - The National Awakening Party (PKB) is still not thinking whether to form a coalition with the government that will lead later or face the opposition.

This was stated by the Chairman of the DPR PKB Faction Cucun Ahmad Sjamsurijal at the PKB DPP Office, Central Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, February 18.

"Until now the PKB DPP has not thought about what steps related to the coalition or whatever," he said.

Cucun said the 2024 election had not ended because until now the recapitulation of the 2024 presidential election was still ongoing. According to him, PKB is also still focused on overseeing the process of recapitulating party votes nationally and regionally.

"I myself am trusted as the director of the PKB legislative election, I am still focusing on the tabulation for legislative acquisition. So there is no discussion or talk with our coalition political parties to talk about jumping or for example taking a stand, until now there has been no discussion regarding that," he said.

Cucun revealed that the discussion on party attitudes will first be discussed in internal party meetings. In addition, it will also be held in a meeting with the Amin National Team. However, until now there has been no discussion that way.

"We will first see the results of this election, if it is related to the track record of how it has been in the government, it will be determined not individually, but through an official meeting of the structure in PKB including the Amin National Team," he explained.
