Central PWI Hands Over 10 Thousand Tree Bibits To Ancol

PWI and National Press Day (Special)

JAKARTA - Deputy Secretary General I of the Central PWI Raja Parlindungan Pane handed over 10,000 trees to Ancol managers to be used in this area. The event, which was marked by the symbolic handover of a number of tree seedlings, was held at the Bentar Temple Courtyard, Putri Duyung, Ancol, North Jakarta, Sunday 18 February.

Starting by Raja Pane who handed over tree seeds to the operational director of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, Eddy Prasetyo was then followed by Sibatangkayu (Central PWI DK member), Plt Chairman of PWI Jaya Kesit B Handoyo and representatives of PWI Lampung and South Sumatra who handed over tree seedlings to Corporate Secretary & Investor Relation Group Agung Praptono and Public Relations Ancol Ariadi Eko.

On that occasion, King Pane said that the handover of these 10,000 tree seedlings was a series of events for the 2024 National Press Day (HPN). The king gave a reason why PWI chose tree seedlings because it was a shared obligation to protect the earth from damage.

Therefore, Raja invites all parties, including Ancol, to motivate and increase people's concern to maintain the earth as a place of life and live in a serious way in saving the earth from damage by greening the earth by planting trees.

According to information, the 10,000 trees given to PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol consist of various types of trees, including trambesi trees, ketapang datea, mahogany and several other types. These trees are all hard plants.
