Woman Motorcyclist Killed By A Truck Loaded With Galon Air

JAKARTA - Sobs of the victim's family broke out when he could not bear to see his son die in a traffic accident on Jalan Pondok Kelapa Raya, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta.

The victim, a woman with the initials ESF, known as an automatic Honda Beat motorcycle rider, suffered serious head injuries. The victim died instantly at the scene after being run over by a truck loaded with gallons of mineral water.

ESF victims were listed as residents of Kampung Malaka, Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit District. By local residents, the victim's body was then marginalized and covered by cardboard.

Meanwhile, the victim's family who arrived at the scene screamed hysterically when they saw the victim's body with severe injuries to the head as a result of the accident.

According to Rizal, one of the eyewitnesses to the incident, the accident began when the victim who was riding a motorbike was passing on Jalan Pondok Kelapa Raya, from Pondok Kelapa to Duren Sawit.

"He slipped and couldn't get it (and fell), his head was run over by the wheel of the truck," Rizal told reporters at the location, Sunday, February 18.

The victim tried to overtake the vehicle in front of him, but the victim hit the right side of the bottled drinking water truck that was passing from Duren Sawit to Pondok Kelapa. The victim then bounced and died after being run over.

"The victim is a woman. The wound is only on the head," he said.

As a result of the accident, the victim's motorbike was badly damaged at the front.

The victim's body was then immediately evacuated by ambulance officers and taken to the Central Jakarta RSCM. Meanwhile, the case is handled by the East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit.
