Tom Lembong: The Chance Of Two Rounds Has Not Been Closed

JAKARTA The National Team for the Winning of Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar remains optimistic that the 2024 presidential election will last two rounds even though until now their votes have been left far behind the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair.

According to the AMIN Winning National Team Co-Captain, Thomas Trikasih Lembong, the chance for the 2024 presidential election to take place in two rounds is still open considering the tiered vote recapitulation process carried out by the General Election Commission (KPU) is still ongoing.

In addition, the volume of violations and irregularities found by the Amin National Team has exceeded the winning margin claimed by the Prabowo-Gibran pair.

"Friends of supporters and sympathizers of AMIN, I urge all of us to remain enthusiastic. The possibility for the second round is still wide open. If after the tabulation, the volume of irregularities is exceeded the margin of victory claimed by certain camps. That will be the second round," he said through a video uploaded to his Instagram account @tomlembong.

Tom Lembong emphasized that the persistence of the AMIN national team to continue to oversee the journey of votes from polling stations, sub-districts, and so on to the center is not solely for practical political interests or power pragmatism.

This is because guarding votes is an obligation to realize an honest and fair election and is not tainted by fraud which in the end sacrifices the voices and choices of the people who have come to the TPS.
