PKB Calls Sirekap Simpang Siur No Need To Create Concerns

JAKARTA - Director of the DPP Election of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal said that there is no need to raise concerns in the community regarding the recapitulation information system (Sirekap) in the 2024 election.

"We hope that everyone will never be disturbed by what is called Sirekap. Because Sirekap is not a mandatory item, this is a sunnah item," said Cucun at the PKB DPP Office, Central Jakarta, Sunday.

Cucun said Sirekap would still be escorted by witnesses at the TPS who each had a copy of the C1 Plano Form uploaded to Sirekap.

"In that model, the reference is for all parties that have witnesses at their polling stations," he said.

To note, currently circulating on social media X related to Sirekap is suspected of being marked up. There is different data between the results of the vote acquisition at the polling station and the results in Sirekap.

Related to this, the General Elections Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia immediately corrected the incorrect conversion to read the C1-Plano Model Form data or recorded vote count results for the 2024 General Election on the recapitulation information system (Sirekap).

Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Hasyim Asy'ari explained that the C1-Plano Model Form uploaded into Sirekap was automatically converted. He stated that in the conversion process there was an error.

"We at the central KPU through the existing system, it is monitored regardless of whether the upload of the C form results with the wrong conversion, it is monitored," said Hasyim at the KPU RI Office, Jakarta, Monday.

According to him, the KPU has monitored if there is a miscalculation. Therefore, the KPU will immediately make corrections to the conversion error.

Sirekap (the recapitulation information system) is a system organized by the KPU by inputting all C1-Plano Forms whose purpose is to facilitate access to public information. Because based on the C1-Plano recap, the data presented by the KPU sirekap is a real count, not a quick count or quick count.

However, this KPU real count is not the official result of the KPU. The official results of the KPU will be announced based on the plenary meeting of vote recapitulation carried out in stages.

The 2024 election includes the presidential and vice presidential elections, members of the DPR RI, members of the DPD RI, members of the provincial DPRD, and members of the district/city DPRD with a national voter list (DPT) of 204,807,222 voters.

The 2024 election was attended by 18 national political parties, namely (according to the serial number) of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Gerindra Party, PDI Perjuangan, Golkar Party, Nasdem Party, Labor Party, and the Indonesian Gelora Party.

Next, Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS), Partai Kebangkitan Nusantara (PKN), Partai Hanura, Partai Garuda, Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN), Partai Bulan Bintang (PBB), Partai Demokrat, Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI), Partai Perindo, Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP), and Partai Ummat.

In addition, there are six local political parties as participants, namely the Aceh Nanggroe Party, the Atjeh Beusaboh Tha'at and Taqwa Generation Party, the Aceh Darul Party, the Aceh Aceh Party, the Aceh Prosperous Justice Party, and the Acehnese People's Independent Solidity Party.

Meanwhile, the presidential and vice presidential elections were followed by three pairs, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar as number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.

According to KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
