Mayor: The 2024 Election In South Jakarta Takes Place Conducively

JAKARTA - South Jakarta Mayor (Jaksel) Munjirin said that overall the process of holding the 2024 General Election took place conducively and did not find any striking incidents, including violations.

"There is nothing disturbing everything is going smoothly," said Munjirin in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Saturday, February 17.

He ensured that all stages of the election, starting from preparation, voting, to counting ballots, were conducive without any significant obstacles.

This, said Munjirin, was thanks to cooperation from various parties, such as the TNI, Polri, Bawaslu, KPU, election participants, and the community.

"Everything is conducive, there are no problems," said Munjirin when asked about the 2024 General Election process in South Jakarta.

He added that on the day of voting all residents seemed enthusiastic about using their voting rights, he also took the time to visit several polling stations (TPS) in South Jakarta.

"I see that residents are very enthusiastic about voting to voice their respective rights," he said.

Previously, the South Jakarta Bawaslu (Jaksel) stated that there were no allegations and reports of violations in the 2024 election vote held on Wednesday (14/2).

"Until now, we haven't found anything related to fraud. Hopefully it's safe," said South Jakarta Bawaslu Commissioner Ahmad Fahlevi Thursday (15/2).

According to him, during the voting process until now, Bawaslu did not receive reports and did not find any election violations.

For this reason, said Fahlevi, his party did not provide a re-voting recommendation (PSU) in the South Jakarta area, because all stages were in accordance with existing regulations.

Fahlevi admitted that he was worried about a re-voting at the polling station located in Bangka Village, Mampang Perapatan District, because before the voting there was a flood. However, it turned out to be implemented properly.
