The Association of Indonesian Private Universities (Aptisi) has asked all presidential candidate pairs (paslon) and vice presidents (cawapres) to maintain conduciveness after the 2024 election.
"To all pairs of candidates and their supporters to prioritize national unity and integrity, together to maintain a conducive political situation until the completion of the ongoing election stages," said General Chairperson of Aptisi M. Budi Djatmiko in Jakarta, Friday, February 16.
According to Budi, efforts to prioritize national unity after the democratic party also need to be carried out by supporters of the presidential and vice presidential candidates.
Then if the presidential and vice-presidential candidates suspect that there is an alleged fraud in the 2024 General Election, Budi suggested that it be immediately reported to the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu).
"If each Paslon encounters allegations of fraud committed by certain parties, go through a mechanism that has been established without taking actions that can cause division in the community or among supporters of the candidate pair," said Budi.

Furthermore, Budi conveyed that Aptisi hopes that all people can accept any candidate pair of presidential and vice-presidential candidates which will later be appointed by the General Elections Commission (KPU) to become president and vice president of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024-2029.
