Quick Count Prabowo's Results Win 58 Percent, Bahlil: This Is People's Victory

JAKARTA - The head of the Prabowo-Gibran Strategic Working Team (TKS), Bahlil Lahadalia, welcomed the results of the quick count or quick count of a number of survey institutions as a victory with the Indonesian people. He also admitted that he never thought that Prabowo-Gibran could get more than 58 percent of the votes. Because according to the calculation, the maximum votes that Prabowo-Gibran can achieve is 54 percent "Honestly, this is an extraordinary thing and we ourselves are surprised because our target is a maximum of 54 percent, our fair target is that much," said Bahlil. He explained that Prabowo-Gibran's achievement in the quick calculation version of various survey institutions even exceeded the figure achieved by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) when he won the 2019 presidential election. In the 2019 presidential election, there were two sons of the nation who competed, namely Jokowi and Prabowo. After the vote, Jokowi won the result with 55.5 percent of the votes. Prabowo-Gibran's victory in the 2024 presidential election with a 58 percent advantage became a better record because he managed to beat two other candidate pairs, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Prabowo-Mahfud MD. "With our calculation, our number (target to win) is 54 percent. We can't stop the people. That's not a few numbers, Pak Jokowi in 2019, is 55.5 percent superior, it's head-to-head, it's different from the 2024 presidential election which is tighter with three candidates," said Bahlil, who is also the Minister of Investment.

Bahlil also expressed his gratitude to all parties, including the volunteers who won Prabowo-Gibran in this presidential election. "My friends and I at TKS and fellow volunteers think this is the result of the community's work, this is the result of the people's work and this is the result of good political education for people's negligence using their voting rights," concluded Bahlil. In various quick calculations of various survey institutions, as of Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 19.55 WIB, Prabowo-Gibran was ahead of other presidential and vice presidential candidates. The quick calculation of the Indicator version puts Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka ahead 58.58 percent. Then LSI Denny JA puts Prabowo-Gibran ahead 58.06 percent. For Charta Politica, Prabowo-Gibran won 57.35 percent. Then Poltracking placed Prabowo-Gibran with 60.51 percent. Finally, the PRC survey institute said Prabowo-Gibran was ahead with 58.84 percent of the vote.
