Rizieq Shihab Defends Filmmaker Dirty Vote, No Need To Report To The Criminal Investigation Police

JAKARTA - Muhammad Rizieq Shihab or Habib Rizieq regretted that there were parties who reported legal experts and directors involved in making the documentary film Dirty Vote to Bareskrim Polri. "That's one concern for all of us. I also regret if there are parties who report it," said Rizieq in Jakarta, Antara, Wednesday, February 14. Rizieq said Indonesia is a democratic country, so anyone can argue as long as it is equipped with appropriate data. He regretted that those who had reported the three legal experts and directors of the film, because what they conveyed was data. "We are a democratic country, and a democratic country, people can have opinions, as long as their opinion is supported by data. Moreover, those involved in the film are constitutional law experts, they have data," he said. He added that when there is a difference in perception or interpretation in the film, it is normal. Previously, Rizieq hoped that the 2024 General Election could run in accordance with the constitutional mandate and whatever the results would be obeyed and recognized. So that said Rizieq, the 2024 election can take place, general, secret, and honest, for that it can produce leaders that are expected by the community. "As all the people and the Indonesian nation hope that the presidential and legislative elections in 2024 will run in accordance with the constitutional mandate. The important thing is to be honest and fair," he said. The 2024 election includes the presidential and vice presidential elections, members of the DPR RI, members of the DPD RI, members of the provincial DPRD, and members of the district/city DPRD with a national voter list (DPT) of 204,807,222 voters. The 2024 election was attended by 18 national political parties, namely (according to the serial number) of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Gerindra Party, PDI Perjuangan, Golkar Party, NasDem Party, Labor Party, and the Indonesian Gelora Party. Next, Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS), Partai Kebangkitan Nusantara (PKN), Partai Hanura, Partai Garuda, Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN), Partai Bulan Bintang (PBB), Partai Demokrat, Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI), Partai Perindo, Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP), and Partai Ummat. In addition, there are six local political parties as participants, namely the Aceh Nanggroe Party, the Atjeh Beusaboh Tha'at and Taqwa Generation Party, the Aceh Darul Party, the Aceh Aceh Party, the Aceh Prosperous Justice Party, and the Acehnese People's Independent Solidity Party. Meanwhile, the presidential and vice presidential elections were followed by three pairs, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar as number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.

In accordance with KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
