BANDAR LAMPUNG - The General Election Supervisory Agency of Bandar Lampung City, Lampung, stopped voting at the 19 polling stations (TPS) in Waykandis Village, Tanjungyang District, because a number of ballots had been found.

"We have temporarily suspended TPS 19 because there are reports of ballots," said Badarlampung City Bawaslu member Hassanudin Alam as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 14.

He revealed that the incident was reported by the public who were voting at TPS 19 at around 11.00 WIB.

"Residents when they wanted to vote, they found that there was a ballot that had been cast. Then the new one was replaced, it turned out that it was the same, so we asked the TPS supervisor to communicate with the KPPS (Voting Organizing Group) to temporarily stop," he said.

After being temporarily suspended, the Bawaslu City of Bandarlampung checked the ballot which was still folded and did find someone who had been cast

"We are still checking how many have been cast in the ballot folds. But, for sure, it is a ballot for the provincial DPRD and the city DPRD that has been cast," he said.

Meanwhile, for the presidential and vice presidential election letters, the DPD and DPR are all safe, no one has passed.

"(Voter) of the president, DPD and DPR RI after we checked the folding of ballots, all of them were safe and did not pass," said Hassanudin.

The permanent voter list (DPT) at TPS 19 was recorded at 260 people and 115 voters had already voted.

"Those who have voted and put ballots into ballot boxes are 115 voters, so we will secure the remaining folded ballots first," he added.

Hassanudin emphasized that the incident at TPS 19 was categorized as a special incident by Bawaslu Bandarlampung.

"For reports until now, only at TPS 19 there are problems. In other locations there have been no reports, here (TPS 19) we have recorded and reported in stages," he said.
