Airlangga Optimistic That The 2024 Presidential Election Is Only One Round

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs and General Chair of the Golkar Party (Golongan Karya) Airlangga Hartarto has exercised his voting rights in the 2024 general election (elections) at Polling Station (voting House) 005 Melawai, SMKN 6 Jakarta, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. Airlangga believes that the 2024 presidential election will take place in one round.

Airlangga is optimistic that the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) will take place in one round. Because according to him, the results of the survey before the general sorting show that the public wants one round. However, Airlangga will continue to wait for the results of the official vote from the General Elections Commission (KPU).

"From various surveys before the general election, once the round is visible, but once again that the vote is determined in the election box. So we'll just have to wait for the election results," said Airlangga after being met at TPS 05, Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

Airlangga emphasized that the 2024 General Election was not only filled by the presidential election, but there was the Legislative Election (Pileg) and the Election of the Regional Representative Council (DPD). Therefore, the public is expected to be patient waiting for the official results from the KPU.

"This means that the official results will determine the decision rather than the election results. So be patient," he explained.

Airlangga said that the 2024 election this time was safe, orderly and peaceful in the community.

"Relatively, this election is safer, calmer and calmer in society. I am talking about it at the community level, I have been traveling around various places, relatively safe. So there are no extreme things that arise from the election," he said.
