Tomorrow President Jokowi And Iriana Will Vote At TPS 10 Gambir Jakarta

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) together with First Lady Iriana Jokowi will vote at Pols 10, RW 02, Gambir Village, Central Jakarta located in the State Administration Agency (LAN) building.

The head of the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) for Voting Places (TPS) 10 Gambir, Hamdi Basyar, handed over an invitation to vote for the 2024 General Election to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the State Palace, Monday, February 12.

The invitation to vote was then received directly by President Jokowi accompanied by Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Pratikno.

Hamdi explained that later President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana Jokowi will vote at polling stations 10, RW 02, Gambir Village, Central Jakarta located in the State Administration Agency (LAN) building.

"We have just submitted an invitation letter for a vote to the President and First Lady. Then, we also conveyed to the President that the location of the TPS was at the State Administration Agency Building on Jalan Veteran Number 10 at RW 02 Gambir Village," explained Hamdi.

Hamdi then told the President that at TPS 10 Gambir there are 120 permanent voters (DPT). He also explained about the technicality of voting time.

"I also conveyed earlier that there were 120 recorded voters for now, I conveyed to Mr. TPS that it had been opened from 07.00 WIB until 13.00 WIB at noon, the voting would start at 08.00 WIB until 12.00 WIB, which at 13.00 WIB would later be a list of additional voters and a special voter list," he added.

On that occasion, Hamdi continued, Jokowi confirmed that he would be present to vote at TPS 10 Gambir with First Lady Iriana. Jokowi also gave a message to Hamdi and KPPS members throughout Indonesia to work honestly, fairly, firmly and carefully.

"Mr. President, Mr. Jokowi, God willing, will be pleased to attend and you will also convey a message to KPPS anywhere in this republic, throughout the archipelago, to work honestly, fairly, decisively, carefully in order to hold honest and fair elections," he said.

When asked what time Jokowi would come to the TPS, Hamdi said that the President and the first lady would come to the TPS between 08.00 WIB-12.00 WIB.

"He didn't say it. Only he asked 'WHy time can I come to the TPS? If I read here it can be at 08.00 WIB until 12.00 WIB, right?' Yes sir, I said," he explained.

"So it is possible that the President and Mother will come between 08.00 WIB to 12.00 WIB. If 5 years ago he also came between that hour," he concluded.
