"We combed all locations or places prone to the circulation of alcohol in the jurisdiction of the North City Police," said Fredy in Gorontalo, Antara, Monday, February 12. In the patrol, he said, his party confiscated about 240 bottles of alcohol of various types and brands, as well as 26 liters of traditional rat-cap drinks ready for distribution, from a number of nightclubs, small stalls to locations that were allegedly traded alcoholic beverages freely. The routine eradication of the circulation of alcohol continues to be carried out because most of the criminal events and disturbances in kamtibmas are triggered by perpetrators or victims who consume alcoholic beverages. Especially for the next few days before voting, said Fredy, his party will routinely conduct patrols and raids to all locations deemed prone to the circulation of alcoholic beverages. It aims to minimize or prevent disturbances in public order caused by alcohol, especially ahead of the implementation of general election day. "We are committed to maintaining and creating a safe and conducive situation ahead of the election," said the police chief.
