JAKARTA - Commission III of the House of Representatives asked for the promise of National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo who stated that the law should not be sharp downward, blunt upwards.

This was conveyed by DPR Commission III member Santoso in response to the shooting that took place at a cafe in the Cengkareng area, West Jakarta on Thursday, February 25.

"Now is the time to prove the promise of the National Police Chief Listyo Sigit, that the law should not only be sharp downward," Santoso told reporters, Thursday, February 25.

The National Police Chief was also determined to make Polri firm but humanist. In line with the statement made by the National Police Chief, the Democrat politician asked that the shooter be punished in accordance with the applicable law.

"It must be dealt with in accordance with the applicable law. There must be no ego of each party to protect the guilty members. If wrong, the law must be enforced," said Santoso.

Regarding the shooting incident involving members of the TNI-Polri, Santoso believed that the National Police Chief and the TNI Commander would take proportional action against problematic members.

He also asked TNI commander Hadi Tjahjanto to process problematic members.

"If members of the TNI are also guilty even though the military has its own judiciary, the judicial process must be transparent and fair," said Santoso.

The shooting case at RM Kafe, Ring Road, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Thursday, 25 February. Three people were declared dead in the incident.

Based on information the perpetrator was a member of the Kalideres Police with the initials CS, and the death victim was a member of the TNI AD / Security RM cafe with the initials S, Bar Boy / Waiter with the initials FSS, and the RM Cafe cashier with the initials M. Then the injured victim was the RM Cafe Manager with the initials HA.
