PPLN Berlin Has Just Received 70 Percent Of Voters In Germany By Pos Method

JAKARTA - As many as 70 percent of the ballots from 496 postal method voters in Germany have returned and have been received by the Overseas Election Committee (PPLN) in Berlin.

Chairman of the Berlin Overseas Election Committee (PPLN) Roni Susman said of the hundreds of voters, it was recorded that 70 percent had returned to PPLN Berlin, Germany.

It is known that the Pos method system has been sent since January 2-15, 2024 yesterday. Later, after the voting, it will be returned to PPLN to be put into the voice city.

"Pos 496 Voters. So far 70 percent have returned ballots to PPLN (Germany)," said Roni when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, February 11.

Roni said that the rest who used the Pos method could still be accepted by vote count until Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

"The election for the Pos method must still be accepted by PPLN until the 14th (February) before the vote count meeting starts," he said.

Meanwhile, Roni also mentioned that overall there were around 2 thousand Indonesian citizens (WNI) who participated in the voting of 4,049 people registered in Germany. Those who could not attend were due to bad weather conditions.

"Of the 4,049 Pos voters, only 2000 were present at the TPS because of the weather since the morning, it has been raining heavily and cold," he said.

Furthermore, the vote counting process will be carried out on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

"At 8 am, our Berlin time starts to be calculated (14 p.m. Jakarta time)," he concluded.
