Prior To His Grand Campaign At JIS, Anies Had Breakfast With JK

Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan hosted the 10th and 12th Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK) for breakfast together in Jakarta. This was done before leaving for the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). Anies was accompanied by his wife and family, as well as JK accompanied by his wife. The former governor of DKI Jakarta will be active at JIS to attend a campaign entitled "Brand Ber1 Dare to Change". In addition to breakfast together, Anies and JK also monitor the progress of the arrival of their supporters to JIS through television.

According to him, some of the supporters have arrived at JIS since Friday night. "Some have walked, cycled, even stayed overnight. At dawn I saw that they were not moving (traffic), really subhanallah," said Anies after breakfast with JK quoting Antara. He said the public interest or supporters who attended JIS showed enthusiasm and persistence.

In addition, he assessed that the large number of people who came was based on what it was because of the desire to change. Meanwhile, Jusuf Kalla said that this large interest is a representation of the people's strong desire for a better change, as well as a reminder for parties who manipulate or steal the voices of the people. "So I ask a number of months what has been obtained from the community so that it will be expressed later," said JK. Previously, the National Team (Timnas) Winning Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) estimated that as many as 5 million people would attend the AMIN grand campaign entitled "Group with 1 Dare to Change" at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).

The AMIN National Team Advisory Council, Awalil Rizky, said the estimated figure was in line with the number of tickets ordered online on Wednesday (7/2) reaching 3.5 million in the first minute and based on a report from the Regional Winning Team (TPD).The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia on Monday, November 13, 2023, determined three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates to be participants in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres). The results of the draw and determination of the serial numbers of the 2024 presidential election participants on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud number 3. The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule on February 14, 2024.
