2 Teenagers Who Molested 13-Year-Old Children In Serang Arrested By Police

Serang Police, Banten, arrested perpetrators of sexual abuse with the initials IL (16) and AN (15) against minors with 13 years old victims.

Serang Police Chief AKBP Candra Sasongko said the two perpetrators were residents of Cikeusal District, Serang Regency, Banten.

"The suspect IL and the victim met after the two got acquainted on social media Facebook in September 2023. After communicating with each other through social media, the two met each other," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 9.

On Sunday afternoon, October 24, the victim was then invited to the suspect's house. At that place, the victim was teased to have sex with an appointment to marry.

Mocked by the seduction, the victim obeyed the perverted invitation, even the forbidden relationship was carried out twice in the same place. After venting his lust, IL even moved away from the victim.

"When the victim was confused, suspect AN tried to approach the victim. Because to entertain himself because IL was disappointed, the victim, who already knew AN, did not refuse when invited to take a walk," he said.

On Thursday (1/2) night, the victim was invited by AN to take a trip to the Pamarayan area. Instead of being escorted home, after traveling, the victim was taken to AN's house. At the house, he asked to have a proper relationship with his husband and wife.

"The victim refused because he felt that his girlfriend had been tainted. However, AN threatened the victim using a knife to obey his invitation. Afraid of the threat, the victim was forced to obey the perpetrator's wishes," he explained.

AN also threatened again so that his actions would not be reported to anyone. But in the morning when he returned home, the victim told her the disgrace that happened to her parents. Even intimate relationships with IL were also told.

"After receiving a complaint from his son, the victim's parents did not accept it and his relatives then secured the two teenagers. The two suspects were then taken to the Serang Police Headquarters," he said.

After receiving a complaint about immoral acts, said Candra, Serang Police Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) personnel immediately arrested the two suspects. After examining the victim's witnesses and other witnesses as well as post-mortem evidence, investigators finally determined the status of suspects and detained IL and AN.

"The two suspects were charged with Article 81 paragraph (1) (2) in conjunction with Article 82 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 17 of 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning child protection with a penalty of 3.6 years in prison," he said.
