DKI Transportation Agency Engineering Traffic During The Prabowo-Gibran Grand Campaign At GBK Tomorrow

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has implemented traffic engineering (traffic) and parking points in connection with the grand campaign at the Bung Karno Stadium (GBK), Saturday (10/2) tomorrow.

"In the context of grand campaign activities at GBK, Central Jakarta, traffic engineering and parking space arrangements are carried out to park their vehicles," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 9.

Syafrin revealed that roads that intersect with the location of the grand campaign activities at GBK will be closed situationally.

The affected roads include Jalan Pintu 1 GBK, Jalan Asia Afrika, Jalan Gerbang Pemuda, Kupingan Senayan-Jalan Gatot Subroto, Layang Ahok, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Semanggi, Kupingan Derivative Semanggi-Jalan Gatot Subroto, and Jalan Semanggi-Jalan Gatot Subroto.

"Visitors who will go to Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) are advised to use available public transportation," said Syafrin.

The parking of vehicles provided in the GBK area include parking for the Southeast Plaza, Istora Parking, APEC Street, Elevated Parking on the South Side, Senayan East Parking on the South Side, North Side Senayan East Parking, North Side Elevated Parking, Acquatic Parking, ABC Field, Intermediate Stadium Parking, Albina Mosque Parking, and Softball Parking.

Meanwhile, the diversion route that can be passed during the activity is as follows:

1. From the East or South to the North-Jalan Trunojoyo-Jalan Kapt. Tendean-Jalan Canal HR. Rasuna Said-Jalan HR. Rasuna Said or Jalan Prof. Dr. Satrio

2. From the East or Pancoran to the West or Tomang can still pass

3. From the West or Slipi to the South or Blok M via Jalan Gatot Subroto-turns back at Pancoran-Jalan Kapt. P. Tendean-Jalan Trunojoyo, and

4. From the north or Harmoni to the south or Blok M via Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Jalan Gatot Subroto-turn back at Pancoran-Jalan Kapt. P Tendean-Jalan Trunojoyo.

Syafrin appealed to road users who have no interest in avoiding these roads and can adjust the traffic arrangements set, obey traffic signs, and follow the instructions of officers in the field and prioritize road safety.

Previously, the candidate for vice president number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka asked all volunteers and supporters of Prabowo-Gibran to attend the grand campaign at GBK, Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday (10/2).

"We'll meet again on February 10, everyone wears light blue, blue GBK," said Gibran while speaking to his volunteers in South Jakarta, Monday (5/2).
