The thieves in the Duren Sawit area are getting brutal. They target everything when there is an opportunity to steal goods.

The proof is that Fahri's kebab cart (31) on Jalan Bunga Rampai Raya, Malaka Jaya Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta was also burglarized.

From Fahri's statement, he only found out after receiving a report from an employee when he was about to sell.

"You know that when my employee wanted to open a cart for selling, then I was told that the lock was broken, then the video was taken and I made evidence, and it turned out that it was true that the condition was broken," he told reporters, Thursday, February 8.

Fahri said he did not know in detail the theft with the mode of breaking into. Because the action is not known to residents or CCTV footage around the location.

"It seems that when my employee finished work, there was no CCTV footage, because none of the CCTV cameras were focused on the location, so I don't know the chronology," he said.

Based on this incident, Fahri admitted that he suffered losses of only hundreds of thousands of rupiah.

"What was taken was three kilograms of two gas, approximately Rp. 450 thousand," he said.

Fahri said that the crime vulnerability at the location was not the first time this had happened. Previously at the end of January 2024, a container model kiosk was broken into in a condition where no one was inside.

"If the container was broken into, nothing was stolen, because the contents were empty, the person had just moved," he said.

Then in 2021, Fahri revealed that his kebab cart was broken for the first time.

"In 2021, two gases were missing, the kebab cart was also mine," he said.

Meanwhile, in 2019, Fahri revealed that his employees had been victims of robbery, the three perpetrators.

His employees also suffered injuries to their hands due to sharp weapons (sajam) which were brought by robbers at that time.

"If it's a robbery that took the employee's cellphone, my employee chased it but it didn't work," he said.

Finally, Fahri said that helmet theft around the scene also often occurs. However, events often take place during the day, and are different from other criminal incidents.

"Around this location, many people trade food, so many customers lose helmets too," he said.
