JAMBI - Jambi Regional Police (Polda) has examined seven witnesses related to the case of vandalizing local governor's office facilities some time ago.
Dirreskrimum Polda Jambi Kombes Andri Ananta Yudhistira said the report was still in the process of being investigated.
"Yesterday there was an additional one witness, so a total of seven witnesses have been examined," said Jambi, Antara, Monday, February 5.
The seven witnesses examined were part of the Jambi provincial government. He said that until me the police were still investigating the case of destroying the governor's office facilities that were carried out during a demonstration by a coal driver some time ago.
Until now, investigators from the Jambi Police Ditreskrimum have not examined witnesses for demonstrations from the coal driver. Andri emphasized that in the near future, he would also summon the witness back for questioning.
Previously, it was reported that there was a destruction of the governor's office facilities during a demonstration by a coal driver who demanded the opening of national road access for transportation.
The demand for a coal driver has not been met by the Jambi Provincial Government, considering the impact of using national roads for large coal truck traffic, including congestion and road damage.
Jambi Governor Al Haris had emphasized that the Jambi Provincial Government would continue to report the destruction of the governor's office facility which had entered the Jambi Regional Police.
Based on the Jambi Provincial Government report, due to the destruction, there were losses of up to hundreds of millions of rupiah.
