ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister on Tuesday stressed his country's steadfast commitment to the rules at the 1936 Montreux Convention which regulates ship traffic through the Istanbul Strait.
Speaking at a joint press conference with his colleague from Bulgaria Mariya Gabriel in Sofia, Hakan Fidan said: "We will continue to apply the Montreux Convention," adding that re-disputing this matter is impossible.
