North Kalimantan Governor Proposes 1,403 PPPK And 65 CPNS To BKN

The Governor of North Kalimantan, Zainal A Paliwang, approved the proposed selection formation for the 2024 State Civil Apparatus Candidate (CASN) which was submitted to the State Civil Service Agency (BKN).

Head of the Planning and Employee Development Division of the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of Kaltara, Yusuf Suardi, said that the total proposed 2024 CASN Procurement formation was 1,403 Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) and 65 formations for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS).

"He has received the governor's approval, this proposal is forwarded to BKN today. Then we are waiting for BKN approval and a selection phase schedule," he said, Friday, February 2.

Later, the selection schedule will be issued by BKN, including the implementation technical guidelines. The proposal for CASN formation such as PPPK this year is in accordance with the database.

"This is proof of the Governor's commitment to solve honorary problems and contract workers. Everything is sought to be selected and raised to PPPK in accordance with the central government's decision," he explained.

He explained that the proposed formation was not only for the needs of health workers and teachers.

"There are administrative staff and other technical personnel, according to our needs and the BKN database. All in accordance with the provisions and meet the required criteria. For example, performance assessments so far," he continued.

The Governor of Kaltara, continued Yusuf, emphasized the leadership of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to evaluate the competence and seriousness of PTT's work ethic while working. In addition, BKD already has data on the number of PPPK needs that are the governor's priority.

"The PPPK recruitment starts in 2021 as many as 3 people, in 2022 as many as 251 people, and in 2023 as many as 254 people, all of whom consist of formations of functional staff for teachers, health workers, and technical personnel," he explained.

"This PPPK, apart from the Central Government program, has also been a priority for the Governor from the start. PPPK recruitment has been started since 2021. We are still mapping CPNS while looking at regional capabilities," added Yusuf.

Meanwhile, as reported from the website of the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), the recruitment of Candidates for State Civil Apparatus (CASN) 2024 is planned to be held a maximum of 3 times in one year, the first stage of which will be held in May 2024.
