Saturday Tomorrow, 134 Thousand Ganjar-Mahfud Volunteers Ready To Enliven Their Grand Campaign At GBK

JAKARTA - The Presidential Winning Volunteer Coordination Team (TKRPP) stated that 134,000 volunteers would attend the people's celebration at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK) Senayan Jakarta, Saturday, February 3.

"We from the 2024 TKRPP Ganjar-Mahfud Aspiration House together with 2,444 volunteer groups concentrated in three provinces, Jakarta, Banten, and West Java, God willing, we will mobilize approximately 134,000 volunteers to attend the GBK event," said Head of the TKRPP Program Division Erwin Usman in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday, February 1.

He said the grand campaign entitled "Hopefully Millions of People (People's Celebrations) and the Salam Metal 03 Total Winning Concert" will be attended by hundreds of thousands of Ganjar-Mahfud volunteers.

He apologized to the people who took the road around GBK Senayan.

"We hope that the community and road users may be disturbed by the mobilization, it can provide prosperity and also help provide access because these friends come from 27 regencies and cities in West Java and also eight regencies and cities in Banten," he said.

For two-wheeled motorized vehicles, he said, around 19,000 units are expected to attend, while buses with 50 passengers are around 1,950 units to be deployed.

He said volunteers from the Jabodetabek bajaj community would also enliven the event.

He said about 500 bajaj volunteers would enliven the convoy from Cipinang, East Jakarta, to GBK.

"The Jabotabek pirate community, there are 500 bajaj, and one bajaj there will be 2-3 passengers," he said.

The People's Celebration event will also be enlivened by a number of top national band groups, such as Slank to Jamrud.

Therefore, Erwin hopes that the event can entertain the public.

"We hope that this campaign can be an cool campaign as well as for voters, especially those who are still hesitant so that on February 14, those who are still hesitant can then be 03 Ganjar and Mahfud," he said.

The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia on November 13, 2023, determined that three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates will participate in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres).

Based on PKPU Number 78 of 2024, the grand campaign is the name for the general meeting campaign. The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
