JAKARTA - The Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) appealed to the supporters of candidate pair number 2 not to sneer at other presidential and vice presidential pairs, including supporters. TKN suggested that it be joged only if someone sneered at Prabowo-Gibran. This was conveyed by the Deputy Golf Commander (Relawan) of TKN, Agus Teddy Sumantri, responding to the increasingly heated political tension ahead of the presidential election voting day which will be held on February 14. "Maybe the other candidate pairs are too tense, emotional, cynical, slanderous, hoaxes. That is not a characteristic of 02 supporters, if the 02 hobby is dancing. So if you do it in nyinyirin, just dance and dangdut," Agus said when receiving a declaration of support from Volunteer Dangdut 02 in Kertanegara, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 31, evening.

Regarding dangdut music, Agus said, Prabowo-Gibran has serious attention to the cultural sector as stated in their vision and mission documents. Therefore, Agus believes that Prabowo-Gibran will not forget artists and cultural observers if they win later, including dangdut lovers.

"So it's not just nonsense, if all of my friends' elections are invited here and there, later after the campaign is passed. If Pak Prabowo doesn't, there will be cultural endowment funds for traditional local culture, including dangdut music," he said.

Apart from having special attention, said Agus, Prabowo himself is also a dangdut music connoisseur. This can be seen in Prabowo's campaign, which is often enlivened by dangdut music.

Meanwhile, from an electoral point of view, Agus believes that the support from dangdut lovers will further increase Prabowo-Gibran's chances of winning the 2024 presidential election in one round. According to him, the support from dangdut lovers has more influence than the support from the King of Dangdut. It is known, the King of Dangdut Rhoma Irama supports the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 1, Anies-Muhaimin. "So even though the king has different choices for the time being, his fellow soldiers are the most important 02, the soldiers are 02.
