The Papuan Police Chief also reminded members of the National Police tasked with securing election logistics warehouses so as not to catch fire.

"As for locations that can be reached using vehicles, logistics distribution will be carried out D-2 or two days before the voting on 14 February 2024," said Commissioner for the Socialization, Education, Community Participation and Human Resources Division of the Jayapura Regency KPU, Lodik Y. MF.

After reviewing the logistics warehouse of the Jayapura Regency KPU, the Papua Police Chief, who was accompanied by a number of officials, continued his visit to the Jayapura City KPU logistics warehouse located in the PTC Entropy area.

The head of the Jayapura City KPU, Oktovianus Injama, explained the readiness to distribute logistics to five districts, all of which can be reached using four-wheeled vehicles.

"Currently, KPU staff assisted by volunteers are preparing a form to be sent along with other logistics including letters and ballot boxes," said Jayapura City KPU Chairman Oktovianus Injama.

The number of voters in Jayapura City was recorded at 258,082 people who would vote at 940 polling stations, spread over five districts in the Jayapura City area, namely North Jayapura, South Jayapura, Abepura, Heram and Muara Tami Districts.
