Wear Flip-flops Campaign In Pontianak, Kaesang: Later 'Reshuffle' His Jidat Mas Gibran

PONTIANAK - Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep campaigned in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, to be precise at the Qubu Resort Kubu Raya field. He invited the public to vote for his brother, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who is a candidate for Vice President Number Urut 2. In the campaign, Kaesang, wearing flip-flops, gave an example through a simulation of voting by reshuffling Gibran's photo. "How come Pak Prabowo was nominated? If Pak Prabowo is more senior, I have to respect him. Even though Mas Gibran is also older than me, he's just annoying," said Kaesang while campaigning as reported by Antara, Tuesday, January 30. In the campaign, Kaesang conducted a simulation of voting with ballot paper printed by giant sizes and sticks as a prop to vote. He invited the people in Pontianak to vote for Gibran's face as a Vice Presidential Candidate for President Prabowo Subianto. "Later, choose number 2 put on Mas Gibran's face. Chosen, he likes to put his eyes, forehead, nose, or mouth. If his heart is not allowed, mothers will have his heart, Mas Gibran is afraid of being fragile," said Kesang. Kaesang, who often shows jokes to his brother on social media, throws prop wood, voting tools remotely on Gibran's face photo. "Ah, you can! That's what Mas Gibran's jidat reshuffled later. It will be classified later, Mas Gibran's face will be, yes," said Kaesang happily reshuffled his brother's photo. In PSI's grand campaign titled Mawar Melawan, Kaesang also invited the public to vote for his party which has serial number 15. At the grand campaign activity, PSI founders such as Grace Natalie, Isyana Bagus Oka, and King Juli Antoni were also present to accompany Kaesang. Kaesang will undergo a series of grand campaigns in a number of cities from Tuesday to Thursday (1/2), namely in Pontianak, Manado, Kupang, Malang, and Kertajati. The Indonesian KPU appointed the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Election participants, namely the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.

The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
