Hasto Amini Mahfud MD's Meeting With Megawati, This Is What Megawati Discussed

JAKARTA - Secretary of the National Winning Team Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, Hasto Kristiyanto, confirmed the meeting between Vice Presidential Candidate (Cawapres) Mahfud MD and PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri. The meeting is said to take place, Monday, January 29.

"It is true yesterday that a meeting was held between Mrs. Megawati and Prof. Mahfud MD at 5.30 and this is a routine meeting because routine evaluations of all stages of the campaign are always carried out," said Hasto at the Cemara Media Center, Tuesday, January 30.

The meeting was routinely held due to the high interest of the people who attended every time Ganjar and Mahfud MD campaigned. In fact, a little of the facilities can be provided.

"If we look at candidate pair 02 Prabowo-Gibran, it is supported by more than a third of entrepreneurs who contribute to the national economy," he said.

"While Pak Ganjar and Prof Mahfud as leaders from the people, we all work together so that it is the people's strength that is finally present to overcome the barrier of intimidation to support leaders from the people, namely Ganjar Mahfud," continued Hasto.

Not only that, the meeting also discussed the grand campaign plan to be held in the form of a people's celebration at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), on February 3.

"Then on February 8 will be carried out in East Java, Banyuwangi, and February 9 will be carried out in West Java. Last February 10, the final peak of the entire series of campaign schedules will be carried out in Central Java," continued Hasto.

Hasto explained that the meeting also discussed the dynamics of national politics. But not clearly stated.

Meanwhile, regarding Mahfud's meeting with Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Hasto said it was an ordinary meeting.

"Coordinating with the minister is coordination. And the meeting is a normal thing to do, let alone the Minister of State Secretary as an extension of President Jokowi. Last night a meeting was held, and the results of the meeting we followed up together with Prof Mahfud," said Hasto.
