In A Week 39 Kg Of Cannabis From Aceh Successfully Confiscated By Jambi Police

JAMBI - Jambi Police Narcotics Unit confiscated 39.5 kilograms (kg) of marijuana, 384 grams of crystal methamphetamine and firearms from the disclosure of cases for a week in the area. Jambi Police Chief Commissioner Eko Wahyudi said that the evidence recorded by the police came from three perpetrators. The three perpetrators, namely RA (25) were arrested in Padang City, then DA (19) was arrested in Jambi City and the perpetrator with the initials BA (47). RA perpetrator was arrested for possession of marijuana weighing 17.5 kilograms, DA for possession of marijuana ranging from 22 kg and BA perpetrators for possession of crystal methamphetamine weighing 348 grams and also firearms. During the disclosure, the perpetrator RA had escaped. Three days later he was arrested in Padang City, West Sumatra. said that the evidence came from Mandailing Natal then sent by land to West Sumatra then to Jambi. From there the investigators carried out the development, and found one more dealer. On January 24, 2024 in Lake District Teluk, Jambi City, the police arrested DA with 22 kilograms of evidence of marijuana Eko explained that the perpetrators were found from two different places, namely from Mandailing Natal, North Sumatra and from Bireuen Regency, Aceh. "They categorized the dealer, they brought this marijuana by land to Jambi," said Eko as reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 29.

Of the three perpetrators, one narcotics dealer is currently being treated at Bhayangkara Jambi Hospital because his condition has decreased after being secured by the police. As a result of his actions, the three perpetrators were suspected of Article 111 paragraph (2) or 114 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with the threat of death penalty or life imprisonment.
