President Jokowi: 15.2 Million Madani National Capital Customers

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that Madani National Capital (PNM) customers have now reached 15.2 million people and credit disbursement has reached Rp237 trillion. "I am happy because in 2015, only Rp800 billion was distributed for approximately 400 thousand customers," he said when meeting thousands of customers of PNM Magelang Regency at Gemilang Stadium, Magelang, Monday, January 29, which was confiscated by Antara. "Maybe more than four years I haven't met PNM Mekaar customers and today in 2024 the first to meet was a customer from Magelang Regency, I'm happy because the spirit is still 45," he said. Jokowi reminded to be careful in managing loans and remain honest, work hard, and disciplined. However, he saw that the Mekaar PNM was very small when compared to banking. "This means that everything is disciplined because those who cannot return it are only once small 0.5 percent, even though the bank can reach 3-4 percent," said the President. "Therefore, the key is discipline, if Monday has to deposit, save, then Monday must be evicted. Discipline, I experienced when I was a small entrepreneur, I experienced it and the key was discipline.
