Atikoh Reveals Ganjar-Mahfud's Steps To Manage MSMEs: Mapping To Assistance Will Be Done

The wife of the presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo, Siti Atikoh, said that there will be a number of moves that will be carried out by candidate pair number three to take care of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Among them is mapping to find out their potential and needs.

This was conveyed after enjoying the atmosphere in Batu City Square, Malang, East Java today, Saturday night, January 27. He was there to talk with the traders and try some snacks.

"We will map (MSMEs, ed) throughout Indonesia. Of course, treatment is different between each region, each province," Atikoh told reporters at the location.

Atikoh then gave an example of Batu City and Malang Raya which have various potentials to advance MSMEs. Moreover, the tourism sector also supports it.

"So, this kind of thing will be the concern of Ganjar-Mahfud. So of course we must support MSMEs related to the creative economy sector," he said.

Then, assistance to face various challenges will be given to MSMEs. Moreover, when it comes to export activities considering their extraordinary potential.

"Because sometimes buyers are a bit hesitant about importing our goods," said Atikoh.

This assistance, continued Atikoh, will also be related to licensing. "Yes, so far, of course there have been a lot (assistance, ed) with local governments as well," he said.

"But it is also necessary to develop such things so that there is really synergy starting from the provincial and central regencies," continued Atikoh.
