JAKARTA - Russian President Vladimir Putin will instruct the Investigative Committee to announce details of the crash of the Russian Air Force's Ilyushin-76 (IL-76) military transport plane.
The instruction was conveyed by Putin in St. Petersburg when he met students who were following a special military operation.
"I will ask the Investigative Committee to publish all these crimes as much as possible, so that people in Ukraine also know what really happened. The investigative body is still reviewing all the facts and increasing efforts," Putin said as quoted by TASS-OANA, Saturday, January 27.
Putin also expressed his condolences to the family and loved ones of the IL-76 crew, who were shot down by the Ukrainian military while transporting Ukrainian prisoners of war to the location of the prisoner swap.
