Densus 88 Arrest 10 Suspected Terrorists In Solo, One Of Them Is The Head Of The RT

JAKARTA - The National Police's Anti-terror Detachment 88 arrested 10 suspected terrorists in Solo Raya, Central Java.

Head of Operations for Densus 88, Kombes Aswin, said that 10 suspected terrorists were arrested, one of whom was the head of the local RT. The Densus 88 investigating team is still working intensively in the field for further investigation.

"Currently, Densus 88 investigators are still working intensively," said Aswin, Thursday, January 25.

Local village security officer Suprapto said he was shocked. Even though so far the suspected terrorist is known to be an open person.

"I, as a village security officer, was also shocked. So far, the person has been open and serves as the head of the local RT," said Suprapto.

Densus 88 Anti-terror Police reportedly searched the house of a suspected terrorist in Kampung Kenting, Mojo Village, Pasar Kliwon District, Solo City, Central Java.

Densus 88 conducted a search of the house belonging to the suspected terrorist after securing a resident with the initials M (50), after the Fajr prayer at the local mosque.

Officers secured 11 pieces of evidence in the form of knives, swords, machetes, two books, air rifles, dozens of sewers, three arrows, six arrows, and metal detectors.
