Fun Of Joking Highlighting His Pants During A Celebration, Darsan Was Stabbed To Death

JAKARTA - Joking has a limit. This wise word must be a guide. Even though they already know each other, jokes that go too far can backfire.

The incident in Lahat, South Sumatra (Sumsel) can be a lesson so as not to go overboard. What happened was that Darsan was stabbed to death.

His friend Junaidi did not accept that his pants were glared at during a celebration in Batay Village, Gumay District, Lahat. Ashamed to be stared at in front of many people, Junaidi stabs Darsan.

"It's true that it happened like that," said Lahat Police Chief AKBP Achmad Gusti Hartono confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, February 23.

According to the police, the perpetrators were carrying sharp weapons. Instantly the victim was stabbed to death on the spot.

The perpetrator immediately fled because he was worried that the crowd would attack him. However, some time later, the perpetrator gave himself up.

The perpetrator was charged under Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning murder with a penalty of 15 years in prison. The perpetrator is now detained.
