JAKARTA - Artist Kartika Putri has recently been in the public spotlight after a video clip circulated stating that she wants to hear presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 presidential election read the Koran or recite the Koran.

The video circulated on social media which is suspected to be a screenshot video when the artist was live streaming on his social media. In the video, Kartika mentions that the presidential candidate who has a melodious voice when studying will choose. He was not satisfied just with the argument during the debate.

Of course this reaps the pros and cons, with the response of netizens to Kartika's statement. Warganet said that they were not looking for the leader of the Islamic boarding school, but the leader of the state. So the issue of studying is not very relevant.

After the video went viral, Kartika then clarified her statement via her Instagram Story. According to her, being a leader is not only about political policy, but also involves a spiritual and moral dimension.
