Anies: Yogyakarta Shows A Very High Spirit Of Change

Presidential candidate number 01 Anies Baswedan said his high-intusiasm Yogyakarta residents expected changes, when he campaigned at Jambidan Field, Bantul, DIY.

"Yogya is extraordinary, Yogya is still special, and the enthusiasm of the people from various regencies and cities in Yogyakarta shows a very high spirit of change, we see them come together with enthusiasm," said Anies as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 23.

Anies said the masses came with self-circles and turunan, and were interpreted as a mutual cooperation movement. Anies admitted that he was very grateful to be able to return to his hometown.

Even Anies revealed that many were still stuck to the campaign location, so not all of them could attend and attend the People's Akbar Apple.

The Governor of DKI Jakarta for the 2017-2022 period explained that Yogyakarta also has similar problems with other regions, especially those related to basic needs, as well as related to privileged funds.

"Actually, the issue at the national level was also felt in Jogja, the basic needs, it was felt very much, then here there is an aspiration about how to optimize the privilege funds, how the central government supports activities related to the privileges of Yogya, especially in the field of culture," he said.
